for the record

The other half of my worries about making new friends is all of my worry about leaving friends behind. I'm historically bad at keeping in touch with people that I don't see on a regular basis. So the plan is to be better about making telephone calls and emailing people more often.

So I was thinking.

There's this book called Fire Logic, and so far it has two sequels, Earth Logic and Water Logic. If you haven't read these books yet, you should consider doing so. I'm basing this entirely off the you I knew almost eight years ago, but I'm still fairly sure (from reading your blog) that you'd like these books. The themes, the style, and the characters are right, plus they just feel right for you, if that makes sense. I think the character Zanja will especially resonate. So consider checking Fire Logic out of the library.

Thanks for the recommendation, Skadi. I'm pretty sure we still have pretty similar taste in stories. I'll check it out as soon as I get a library card.
